Effective date: [TODO: effective date, e.g. 1 September 2026] · Version: 1.0
Applies to the Suki Rider mobile application.
1. Agreement
By registering you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, and you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years old;
- you hold a valid Philippine driver's licence for the vehicle you will use;
- your vehicle is registered, roadworthy, and insured as the law requires;
- you may lawfully work in the Philippines;
- the information and documents you provide are genuine and current.
2. You are an independent contractor
This is the most important section. Read it.
2.1 What that means
You are not an employee of Suki. You are an independent contractor providing delivery services.
| You control | We provide |
|---|---|
| When you work — go online and offline whenever you choose | The platform that connects you to deliveries |
| Whether to accept any particular delivery | Payment collection and transfer |
| How you get from pickup to drop-off | Dispatch matching |
| Your route, your vehicle, your equipment | Delivery records and proof |
| Whether to work for competing platforms — you may, freely | Support |
2.2 What that means practically
You are not entitled to employee wages or minimum wage, 13th month pay, overtime or holiday pay, SSS / PhilHealth / Pag-IBIG employer contributions, service incentive leave, separation pay, or other statutory employee benefits.
You are responsible for your own taxes, your own SSS / PhilHealth / Pag-IBIG contributions as a self-employed person, your own vehicle costs, fuel, maintenance, and insurance, your own equipment, and your own compliance with traffic law.
2.3 No exclusivity, no obligation
We do not require you to work any minimum hours, accept any minimum number of deliveries, work exclusively for Suki, or wear Suki branding.
3. Verification and approval
Registration does not let you start working. You must complete identity verification and be approved.
We verify your identity (government ID and selfie), your driver's licence, and your vehicle registration. Face detection during verification runs entirely on your own device — see Privacy Policy section 2.2.
We may decline approval if documents cannot be verified, if your licence is invalid or expired, if your vehicle is unsuitable, or if we have reasonable safety concerns.
Keep your documents current. If your licence, registration, or insurance expires, you must stop accepting deliveries and submit the renewed document before working again. We may suspend an account whose documents have expired.
4. Accepting and completing deliveries
4.1 Offers
When you are online you may receive delivery offers. Each offer shows the pickup, the drop-off area, and the fee, and you have a short window to accept.
You may decline any offer. Declining does not penalise you.
4.2 Once you accept
Accepting creates a commitment to that customer and business. You must:
| Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
| Go to the pickup promptly | The business is holding prepared goods |
| Collect the correct order | Check it |
| Take a pickup photograph | Proof |
| Transport it safely | Insulated bag for food, where applicable |
| Deliver to the stated address | Not somewhere convenient |
| Take a delivery photograph | Proof |
| Collect cash on COD orders | The full correct amount |
| Update your status in the app | So the customer can follow |
4.3 Cancelling after accepting
You may cancel an accepted delivery, but:
- the commission deducted at acceptance is refunded in full;
- the cancellation is recorded and lowers your reliability score, which reduces future offers;
- repeated cancellation may result in suspension.
A cancellation caused by the business does not count against you, and your commission is still refunded.
4.4 If you cannot complete a delivery
Contact rider support immediately through the app. Do not abandon an order. Do not keep the goods.
Keeping goods you were entrusted to deliver is theft and will result in immediate termination and referral to law enforcement.
5. Your earnings
5.1 What you earn
| Order type | You receive |
|---|---|
| Cash on delivery | You collect the delivery fee in cash directly from the customer |
| Online paid | The delivery fee is credited to your Suki earnings balance |
5.2 The two balances
Your account holds two separate balances. Understanding the difference matters:
| Balance | What it is | Withdrawable |
|---|---|---|
| Credits | Prepaid funds used to pay platform commission when you accept a delivery | No |
| Earnings | Delivery fees from online-paid orders | Yes |
You may transfer earnings into credits at any time, so you can fund commission from what you have earned. You cannot transfer credits back into earnings.
5.3 Platform commission
We charge a commission on each delivery you accept, deducted from your credits at the moment you accept.
| Rate | 20% of the delivery fee |
| When | At acceptance |
| Refunded if | You cancel, or the business cancels |
| Amount refunded | Exactly what was deducted, even if the rate has since changed |
You must hold enough credits to cover the commission before you can accept a delivery. You top up credits via GCash, Maya, QR Ph, or bank transfer. Top-ups carry a convenience fee of 2.5%, minimum ₱10.
5.4 Withdrawing earnings
| Minimum | ₱200 |
| Fee | ₱15 |
| Daily limit | ₱5,000 per Manila calendar day |
| Destinations | Verified GCash number or bank account |
| Processing | 1–3 business days |
Your payout account number is encrypted and decrypted only when staff process your withdrawal.
5.5 Changing rates
We may change the commission rate or fees with at least 30 days' written notice, given in-app and by email. If you do not accept a change, stop accepting deliveries and withdraw your earnings.
5.6 Holds
We may hold or reverse funds where we reasonably suspect fraud, where a delivery is disputed, where funds were credited in error, or where required by law. We will tell you why and give you an opportunity to respond, unless prevented by law or an active investigation.
5.7 Not a bank
Your balances are a record of amounts we owe you. Not a bank account, not a deposit, not PDIC-insured, and they do not earn interest.
6. Your conduct
You must:
- obey all traffic laws and wear a helmet;
- treat customers, businesses, and staff with respect;
- maintain hygiene and presentation appropriate to handling food;
- keep food in appropriate insulated containers;
- keep your documents and vehicle registration current;
- keep your app updated;
- report accidents and incidents promptly.
You must not:
- ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
- allow anyone else to use your account;
- open, consume, tamper with, or steal any order;
- contact customers after a delivery for any non-delivery purpose;
- misuse customer addresses or personal information;
- manipulate your location, ratings, or the dispatch system;
- accept deliveries you cannot safely complete;
- discriminate against customers or businesses;
- carry passengers or additional cargo that compromises the order or your safety.
Using a customer's address or phone number for any purpose other than the delivery is a serious breach. It may result in immediate termination and liability under the Data Privacy Act.
7. Safety
7.1 Your responsibility
You are responsible for your own safety and for operating your vehicle safely. Never compromise your safety to complete a delivery. No delivery is worth an accident.
Do not use your phone while riding. Pull over safely to check the app.
7.2 If something goes wrong
In an emergency, call the national emergency hotline 911 first. Then report accidents, injuries, threats, and unsafe situations to rider support as soon as you safely can:
| Rider support | [TODO: riders@…] |
| Urgent incidents | [TODO: 24/7 rider emergency number] |
We will not penalise your reliability score for a delivery you could not complete because of a genuine safety incident.
7.3 Insurance
Suki does not provide accident, health, or third-party insurance for riders. You must maintain the vehicle insurance the law requires, and we strongly recommend you also arrange personal accident cover.
If this changes, we will tell you and update these Terms.
8. Ratings and deactivation
8.1 Ratings
Customers rate your deliveries. Your rating, together with your reliability (completed versus cancelled) and your experience, affects how often you receive offers. See Privacy Policy section 9.
8.2 Deactivation
We may suspend or deactivate your account for breach of these Terms, safety concerns, fraud, theft or tampering, expired or invalid documents, sustained poor ratings or reliability, misuse of customer data, or where required by law.
Serious breaches — theft, riding under the influence, violence, customer data misuse — take effect immediately.
8.3 Your right to be heard
Except for serious breaches, we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to respond before deactivating. Any deactivation decision is reviewed by a person, not made automatically.
You may appeal to [TODO: riders@…]. We aim to respond within 10 business days.
8.4 Leaving
You may stop working at any time and close your account. Complete any accepted deliveries first, and withdraw your earnings.
9. Equipment
You provide your own vehicle, phone, data connection, helmet, and delivery bag.
Suki does not provide, lend, or subsidise equipment, and does not require you to display Suki branding.
10. Taxes
You are solely responsible for determining, reporting, and paying your own taxes, and for your own SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions as a self-employed person.
We provide earnings records to support your reporting. We do not provide tax advice. Where the law requires us to withhold or report on payouts we make to you, we will do so and give you the corresponding certificate.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; for lost earnings or opportunities; for injury or damage arising from your operation of your vehicle; for the acts of customers or businesses; or for matters beyond our reasonable control.
Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the total commission you paid us in that period.
These limits do not apply to fraud, or to liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You indemnify us against claims arising from your operation of your vehicle; your breach of these Terms; your violation of any law, including traffic law; your negligence; and your misuse of customer information.
13. Intellectual property
The Suki name, logo, app, and platform are ours. You get a limited, revocable licence to use the Suki Rider app to provide delivery services.
You may not use Suki branding in your own advertising without written permission.
14. Disputes
With a customer or business: contact rider support. We will help resolve it.
With Suki: contact [TODO: riders@…]. We aim to resolve within 15 business days.
Governing law: the Republic of the Philippines. Exclusive jurisdiction: [TODO: court venue, e.g. the courts of Cebu City].
Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing a claim before the National Labor Relations Commission or any other body with jurisdiction, or from asking a court to determine the true nature of our relationship.
15. Changes
Material changes — including commission changes — will be notified in-app and by email at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to accept deliveries after that means you accept them.
16. General
Entire agreement · Severability · No waiver · You may not assign; we may assign to a successor · Force majeure · English governs any translation.
Survival. Sections 5 (earnings), 10 (taxes), 11 (liability), 12 (indemnity), and 14 (disputes) survive termination.
